Our External Examiner has rated our centre as ‘Outstanding’ in 2020 and 2021

The External Examiner commends the Centre for its learning pathway and for its commitment to standards and quality in the delivery of its training programme.

The content of sampled work is comprehensive and demonstrates high quality submissions, often recognised by the tutors as being ’Outstanding’, even ‘Fabulous’, in content, structure, writing style and understanding of the integrative counselling model as delivered by S.P.A.C.E. The sampled range of submissions provides evidence not only of compliance to the teaching programme but also of a commitment to the core training model and to the training philosophy which underpins the Diploma training programme.

The range of assessed submissions scrutinised by the External Examiner …has been consistent, constructive and developmental. The inclusion of formative and summative feedback from Assessors is essential to the development of learning and tutors have highlighted strengths and areas for future development. In addition, tutor feedback has been exemplary – comprehensive, encouraging, supportive and affirming.

Counselling courses also help a student’s personal growth and self-understanding. Our professional counsellor training is devised to meet BACP requirements.

Our Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy course has been accredited by the National Counselling Society which means that graduates have a more straightforward route to apply for registration and the Accredited Register.
