Following the Government’s announcement on Sunday 10th May where the proposed roadmap to ease lockdown in the UK was announced. For us as a training provider, we will continue as we have been over the past weeks with offering our training online.

We will plan for re-opening when further guidance has been issued from the government and when we feel it is safe to do so

Update Sunday 14th June – We can confirm that all our courses will continue to operate online for the remainder of the academic year.

BACP latest guidance below.

Following our Covid-19 meeting yesterday (22nd July) we have made the decision to continue our courses online until December 2020 with a review of the situation in October half term. As you are aware, the situation re Covid19 is changing all the time, but in order to give all of our tutors, and ourselves an opportunity to take a proper break over the Summer, it is helpful to have some sense of certainty for the immediate future. This will give us time to plan for September, adapt our teaching and have everything in place for a smooth start to the year.

Tuesday 5th Jan 2021 – Courses and workshops will continue to be online for the foreseeable future. We continue to monitor the situation and will follow advice from the government and professional bodies.

Friday 26th Feb – Following the recent government announcement that they hope to be in a position to remove all legal limits on social contact no earlier that 21st June (Step 4) we have made the decision to continue our courses online until the end of the Academic Year. The Foundation course ends 18th June and the Diploma on the 19th July. We sincerely hope that next academic year September 2021 will begin with face to face teaching.

Teaching will resume at The Academy S.P.A.C.E week commencing 6th September 2021

Week Commencing Monday 6th December – Covid-19 update:-

Given the recent change in government guidance for mask wearing to be compulsory in some settings we are updating our Covid policy to reflect these changes and therefore ask that students wear a mask/visor in the building.  Tutors will be advised to wear visors.

If there is a problem with hearing contributions from others we suggest you can ‘umute’ and ‘re-mute’ (i.e. remove mask temporarily) to reflect practice on Zoom.

We will review the policy when the new term starts in January.

If you are exempt from wearing a face covering for any reason please contact us by email.
